Seminar by Daniel Newark

We had a seminar on "When your tale becomes untenable: Toward an unnarrated self of motivation and meaning" led by Daniel Newark. Newark is a renowned scholar and researcher whose research focuses on decisionmaking, identity, prosocial behavior, and social influence and persuasion. During the seminar, we learned about the inescapable inauthenticity of self-narratives and their inherent focus on the self, as well as their potential superfluousness and burdening constraints.
