Anja and Stefano with Article in the Strategic Management Journal
In this article, we suggest an explanation of why achieving persistent, behavioral change is hard: attention to change processes is difficult to maintain over an extended period of time. By studying the interplay of control mechanisms (that keep organizational attention on the long-term goals) and problem solving tools (that identify what and how to change in the short term), we provide a framework that can generate actionable implications for executives. Congratulations to both!

Hacking Digital Awarded Bronze Medal
"Hacking Digital" - a book on best practices in digital business transformation which Tomoko coauthored with three other colleagues, was awarded the Bronze Medal at the 2022 Axiom Business Book Awards. The Axiom Business Book Awards launched in 2007 recognizes books in business publishing.
Applied Behavioural Science in Action
During this three day event at ETH Villa Hatt, Stefano and Daniella shared their knowledge about how to effectively create sustainable change with applied behavioural science insights. Covered topics included "core concepts of behavioural science, "technology, innovation, & learning" as well as "marketing & experimentation". Also, speakers from the companies "Affective Advisory" and "Behamics" were part of this learning experience.

The TIM group welcomed Prof. Andreas Georg Scherer from UZH for a lunch seminar. Prof. Scherer presented his work on Grand Societal Challenges and Responsible Innovation, aiming to provide answers to questions such as: Why do we need responsible innovation? What does "responsible innovation" mean? And what are the sector-specific challenges?
