Welcome OnMaRS!! OnMaRS stands for Online Management Research Seminar. It is a series of virtual visits, during which we host for half a day a leading scholar active in one of the research areas in which we are engaged.
Prof. Vibha Gaba

Vibha Gaba is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD and The INSEAD Fellow in Memory of Erin Anderson. She is broadly interested in how organizations learn and how it impacts their ability to innovate and adapt, especially in discontinuous environments. In this seminar, Vibha's presented her work about the diffusion of problems and solutions and heterogeneity in organizational fields to the TIM Group.
Dr. Tommaso Ramus

Tommaso Ramus is Associate Professor and Executive Director of the Center for Ethics, Business and Economics (CEBE) at the university CATÓLICA-LISBON. His work generally focuses on how social enterprises and socially responsible businesses integrate social value creation and wealth generation. In this seminar, he explored the topic of how organizations that face institutional pluralism attract resorces to grow.
Prof. Charles Baden-Fuller

Charles Baden-Fuller is the Centenary Professor of Strategy and leader of the Strategy Group at Cass. He is well known for his work on networked organisations and the management of young high technology firms, particularly in drug development-biotechnology. In the seminar, he presented his work about generating and leveraging customer data assets and solutions business models.
Prof. Gerard P. Hodgkinson

Gerard P. Hodgkinson is Vice Dean for Research of the Faculty of Humanities and Professor of Strategic Management and Behavioural Science at Alliance Manchester Business School (University of Manchester). Gerard shared his impressive work on the topic of impact in the field of management with the group.
Prof. Adam M. Kleinbaum

Adam Kleinbaum is an Associate Professor in the Strategy and Management area at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He teaches a core MBA course in organizational behavior, an elective seminar on social networks, and a Global Insight Expedition to Israel. Adam shared his newest insights about the neuroscience of social networks with the group.
Prof. Carliss Y. Baldwin

Carliss Y. Baldwin is the William L. White Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School. She studies the process of design and its impact of design architecture on firm strategy, platforms, and business ecosystems. In this seminar, Carliss shared her research about a new way of analysing technical systems and their value structures with the TIM group.
Prof. Özgecan Koçak

Being an Associate Professor of Organization & Management at Goizueta Business School (Emory University), Özgecan Koçak presented her paper “Separated by a common language: Code Clashes and Convergence in Organizations” in this OnMaRS. After the seminar, we had one on one meetings with Özgecan Koçak and finished the day with a common apéro.
